For my website, I describe the history of athletic scholarships and how they evolved over the decades. I included quotes from scholars that further explained the development and advancement of the split into divisions for college sports and the athletic scholarship program. In another section of my website, I thoroughly explain three athletic scandals that involved the financial struggles of college athletes. Each of these scandals had a common theme, where the athletes were forced to partake in dishonorable acts in hopes of gaining money, because of their lack of financial support from their college institutions. In the final part of my website, I explain how the name, image, and likeness rule helped college athletes get paid through autographs and endorsements. I also include a list of different athletes who have taken advantage of the NIL rule for their personal benefits,  such as Dontaie Allen and Hayley Cavinder.
